Students qualify for State Honors Auditions

Five students from District V of the Kansas Music Teachers Association have qualified for the State Honors Auditions, to be held Nov. 10 at Washburn University in Topeka. Rebecca Dudrey, president of KMTA District V, said auditions were held at Barton Community College on Oct. 13.  Each student performed either two or three pieces from different periods or different composers.
 The students are:  Katey Wingerand and Erin Fincher from Elkhart, students of Romona Adams of Holcomb; Kathryn Campbell from Minneapolis, student of Verna Davidson of Delphos; Baleigh Fry of Great Bend, student of Lorrie Stickney; and Allen To from Great Bend, student of Rebecca Dudrey.
