Crime Stoppers of Barton County and Great Bend is seeking information about recent thefts from storage sheds. Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings reports that between Nov. 11 and 23, a storage shed at 708 Jefferson St. was broken into and loss was in excess of $2,500. Items reportedly stolen included four 18-inch tires and wheels for a GMC Yukon, Nascar items, oil, filters, a double-texture brush and a Delta-brand kitchen faucet.
