The Touched by Cancer Support Group will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Heartland Cancer Center, 204 Cleveland St. HCC Director Jamie Hutchinson will be the speaker, with a 2013 welcome.
The group meets at 2 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, and at 5:45 p.m. on the third Tuesday. The Feb. 19 meeting will be a sharing meeting, with the topic, “How to be a friend to someone with cancer.”
Touched by Cancer Group meetings and activities are open to everyone currently fighting the disease, cancer survivors or families and friends of those involved in all phases of the illness, said Dana Foss from the support group. People are welcome to attend any meeting that is convenient for them; no membership or commitment is required.
