USD #112 Central Plains announces the following school board positions up for election on the April 2 general election ballot: Position #2, currently held by Dawn Dolezal; Position #4, currently held by Ron Etchison; and Position #6, currently held by Richard Rugan.
Board Clerk, Diane Ney would like to remind the Central Plains School District patrons who are interested in running for a position on the school board, that the filing deadline is at noon on Jan. 22 at the County Clerk’s office located in the Ellsworth County Courthouse. The filing fee is $5 and you must state what position you are filing for and be a resident of that district position. A primary election (Feb. 26) must be conducted if more than three people file for the same school board position.
