‘Potato Bar Season” will begin Sept. l8, at the Walnut Valley Senior Center in Rush Center. Beginning 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., slow baked potatoes, a large variety of salads and desserts to select from and coffee or tea are served. Planned dates are Sept. 18; Oct. 16; Nov. 13; Dec. 18; Jan. 15; Feb. 19; March 25; April 15; and May 20. The public is welcome. The proceeds help to maintain the former grade school building for use by the community.
