The Great Bend High School Christmas Holiday Band Concert is coming to everyone “live from the GBHS Gym for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home!” band director Grant Mathews said. The band concert will be streamed live at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, on YouTube. It will feature the concert band and the jazz band.

The viewing link will be available later this week. After the concert, Great Bend USD 428 will also post the video in Google Drive, with a link accessible from a usd428 account, in compliance with copyright laws.

Several other musical performances that normally take place this time of year have been canceled. There will be no Vespers and Youth Concert, no Vocal Music Christmas Concert, and no Orchestra Concert. However, the orchestra will record a performance during rehearsal time to be shared only with parents.
