The Great Bend American Legion invites the public to help provide Christmas presents for retired military personnel at the Kansas Soldiers’ Home at Fort Dodge.
For the Adopt a Fort Dodge Soldier for Christmas program, the Legion needs comfort items, T-shirts, socks and underwear, as well as items on the soldiers’ wish lists. Wish lists are available at the American Legion Argonne Post 180 at 1011 Kansas Ave. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
Items are due at the Legion by Dec. 10 to be delivered on Dec. 13.
