Professional development workshops to be held
ELLINWOOD — Professional development workshops will be held at Educational Strategies, 108 N. Main in Ellinwood on Oct. 30.  From 8-10 a.m. is Parkinson’s Disease; 10 a.m. to noon stroke; 1-3 p.m. ADHD in children and adults; and 3-5 p.m. multiple intelligences. Professionals receive eight continuing education units. Cost is $25 per session.

Red Cross to hold Claflin Blood Drive
CLAFLIN — A Red Cross Blood Drive will be held 1:45 -5:45 p.m. on Oct. 20 at Immaculate Conception Church, 110 E. Williamson in Claflin.
