Armed robber hits 10th and Main store

A clerk at Cerv’s convenience store, located at 10th and Main, reported being robbed at gunpoint Saturday night.
Great Bend Police officers were dispatched to the store at 1000 Main at 11:03 p.m. They were told that an unknown person entered the store and pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanding money from the cash drawer. The clerk complied and was unharmed.
The suspect left on foot.


According to reports, the victim was not able to describe the race or sex of the robber, who was wearing a gray hoodie and black pants. His or her face was also covered with what appeared to be a dark colored bandana. The only physical description released was that the subject was between 5 foot 5 inches and 5 foot 9 inches tall.
