Barton County Commissioners continue to support the county’s burning permit program, and county fire chiefs, who met with the commissioners on Monday morning, stress that the system works better than what the county had previously.
State burning regulations, designed to control dangerous burns and keep departments from making unnecessary fire runs, continue to be enforced, according to the fire chiefs.
