Dannebohm apprehended Friday in Great Bend

At approximately 11 a.m. Friday morning, Great Bend Police apprehended Brandon Dannebohm.  The fugitive was found sleeping in a vehicle within the city limits of Great Bend, according to Barton County Undersheriff Bruce Green  He was arrested and is being held on a no-bond warrant from Stafford County.  Barton County charges are pending for aggravated endangerment of a child, abandonment of a child, possession of narcotics, and other charges.  
On May 20, Dannebohm and accomplice Tonya Cope ran from police as they arrived at a residence at 40 NE 20 Road.  Dannebohm exited a vehicle and fled on foot. Upon further investigation the deputies learned that a male and a female left the area as deputies arrived, leaving a 5-year-old juvenile child alone in the vehicle.
Cope is still at large.  She is wanted for Felony Contempt of Court violating her conditions of her bond stemming from a  Drug Investigation from last year.  Green asks the public, if you have any information regarding the Cope’s location, you are asked to contact your local law enforcement or Crimestoppers of Great Bend and Barton County  at 620-793-1300.
