The Great Bend Police Department received multiple reports of burglaries over the weekend. Homes, vehicles and businesses were entered and items taken.
Someone entered a truck at 2415 Walnut Dr. and took a Springfield XDM 9 mm hangun, a Lanber 12 gauge semiautomatic shotgun and miscellaneous tools.
A Remmington shotgun and a Berretta shotgun were taken from 2531 19th St.
Someone broke into 1405 K-96. and stole a saw.
Someone broke into the building at 924 Main and took power tools. Loss was $900.
A computer was stolen from a vehicle at 2501 Walnut Dr.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office also handled burglary reports Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Officers responded to a theft report at 2:17 p.m. Friday at 2907 24th St. in Great Bend. Items were missing from a 2002 Chevy pickup, including a gun, keys, medication and phone. A suspected meth pipe was found in the vehicle.
An abandoned mobile home at 527 NW K-96 was also broken into.
Windows on a truck at 841 NW 80 Road were broken to gain entry to the vehicle, Saturday night or Sunday morning.
