A Hoisington man died Sunday night or early Monday when the motorcycle he was driving went off NW 30 Ave. in Barton County.
Marlin Hughes, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office reports Hughes was traveling south in the 700 block of NW 30 Ave. when he entered the west ditch and lost control of the Kawasaki 1500 motorcycle, sometime between 8 p.m. Sunday and 2:39 a.m. Monday. The motorcycle came to rest on the driver. Hoisington Emergency Medical Service also responded.
