HOLYROOD-The winners from this past weekend's events at the Holyrood 125th Jubilee events have been announced.
Parade: Floats and Individuals – 1st Place – Holyrood Community Garden; Commercial – 1st Place – Ellinwood American Legion; Antique Auto 1959 and Older – 1st Place – Duane Schwab; Antique Auto 1960 and Newer – 1st Place – Bob Sroufe; Antique Equipment – 1st Place – Larry Henne; Motorcycles – 1st Place – Christian Motorcyclist Association; Saddle Clubs & Horses – 1st Place – Nicodemus Buffalo Soldiers
Talent Show: The amazing voice of Rose Radenberg won her first place in the singing division of the Talent Show. Dancing division winners were The Oliver Sisters and Ryan Pauley. L Bar J won first place in the instrumental division.
Tug- O-War: With a great deal of huffing and puffing the Hi-Plains Sand from Kanopolis placed first in the tug-o-war contest. Members were team captain Ronnie Vaughn, Andrew Pruitt, Logan Pochuich, Brabdon Kralik and Matt Burwell.
Volleyball: Members of the first place team in the volleyball contest were Jenny Thornton, Shaun Thornton, Melissa Kraatz, Roger Kraatz, Beverly Witt and Kevin Rayburn.
