Home for the Holidays parade judges announce winners

All Ralph wanted was a Red Rider BB Gun, and P& S Security’s float took top honors depicting Ralph finding it under the tree. P & S claimed the Holiday Spirit award with additional recognition as they won the Grand Marshal Theme award and Best Float.
Judges Vicki Richardson and Debbie Jones had their work cut out for them as this year’s parade was packed with exceptional entries, said Sarah Krom from Sunflower Diversified Services, which organized the parade.  
 Awards in each category:
Business
Holiday Spirit Traveling Plaque – P& S Security and Electric, first; Nex-Tech, second; Community Bank, third.
Church — Foundry Methodist, first; First Church of the Nazarene, second.
Civic/Club — Barton County Historical Society, first; Golden Belt Humane Society, second; Central Kansas Off Road Association, third.
Float — P& S Security and Electric, first; Nex-Tech, second; Community Bank, third.
Private — S & S Stables, first; Dick Freideman, second; John Vsetecka, third
Youth — Girl Scouts troop 20268, first; Boy Scout Cub Pack 184, second; Boy Scout Cub Scout Pack 157, third.
