Mammography offers early detection

HOISINGTON —“Early detection is the key to survival when it comes to breast cancer,” said Betty Evers, Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT)(ARRT) and director of Radiology at Clara Barton Hospital. Evers, celebrating 27 years of service at Clara Barton this week, has led the charge in raising breast cancer awareness in local communities with thorough patient education and spreading the word about the importance of mammography.At Clara Barton, the mammography technologists are certified to provide a quality experience and are accredited by the American College of Radiology. “Our technologists are committed to providing quality, compassionate care,” said Evers.
