A Great Bend man was arrested Wednesday after a stabbing at 516 Odell St.
Lt. Bill Browne at the Great Bend Police Department said someone called the police to that address around 7:50 p.m. and they found Robbie Lyons had been stabbed several times in the back. He was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Browne said the motive for the attack was not known, but the victim and a man arrested at the scene were arguing about something.
According to records at the Barton County Jail, Jonathan Williams, Great Bend, was booked on a charge of aggravated battery in lieu of $100,000 bond. He was also booked on a Great Bend Municipal Court warrant for contempt of court.

The Barton County Sheriff’s Office call log shows a woman called the sheriff’s office at 7:50 requesting an ambulance and officers at 1400 Tyler St. She said Lyons had been stabbed and had approximately nine wounds to his back and would need stitches.
