Suspected marijuana and paraphernalia were located when a search warrant was executed at 2:21 a.m. Tuesday at 1600 Broadway Ave. in Great Bend.
Great Bend Police Department executed the narcotic search warrant with assistance from the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a statement released by the GBPD, one man was arrested and more arrests are pending as the investigation continues.
The Barton County Jail Log shows that Brandon C. Harris, 26, of 1600 Broadway Terrace, was booked on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $50,000.
The police log shows that during the search of the residence an officer also located a .22 JC Higgins rifle that was reportedly stolen. An outside agency assist case was taken for the Pratt Police Department.
Detective David Bailey said information from a traffic stop led officers to the home.
In what may be unrelated cases, the police log also shows a GBPD officer made narcotics violation arrests at 9:20 p.m. Monday in an alley in the 1100 block of Holland St. and at 10:05 p.m. Monday at the area of the Westgate Shopping Center, 1649 K-96. Individuals booked into the jail on drug charges Monday were Willis Bunch, Great Bend, for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, in lieu of $10,000 bond, and Lauren Frise, Great Bend, for possession of marijuana, in lieu of $2,500 bond.
