One Great Bend man died and another Great Bend man was seriously injured Monday as the result of an oilfield accident in Trego County.Todd White, 50, was an operator for D&S Casing Crews in Great Bend. His obituary appears on page 3 of today’s Great Bend Tribune.Trego County Sheriff Richard Hanks confirmed there was an oilfield accident Monday but declined to disclose additional information. “I’m not releasing anything,” Hanks said.Another D&S Caring Crews employee, Charles McHenry, 24, is at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
