An 18-year-old man from Rozel died Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident in Pawnee County.
The driver, Brant A. Colglazier, lost control of a 1995 GMC pickup on 200th Ave., a sandy stretch of road about half a mile south and one mile west of Garfield. The accident occurred about half a mile from the F Road intersection.
The Kansas Highway Patrol online cash logs show the accident was reported at 7:11 a.m.; the exact time of the accident is unknown. Colglazier was driving south when he lost control of the pickup, which went off the roadway two different times, struck a light pole and went into the east ditch. The vehicle rolled at least twice before coming to rest on the passenger side. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
Colglazier was valedictorian of the Pawnee Heights High School Class of 2012, and worked as a grocery stockman at Dillon’s. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the PHHS gymnasium in Rozel.
His obituary appears on page 3 of Wednesday’s Great Bend Tribune and can also be found on this website.
