School walkers
Students arrived safely at Roosevelt Elementary after walking with the Walking School Bus. USD 431 has approximately 95 students and 35 volunteers participating in the Walking School Bus. This program runs from Oct. 1st through Nov. 14th and promotes healthy lifestyles by getting an extra 20-30 minutes of exercise every day while walking to school. Volunteers will also educate kids on sidewalk etiquette and safety.
