Stafford man injured when pickups collide

Kansas Highway Patrol worked an injury accident at 5:04 p.m. Friday in Stafford County, after two pickups collided 4 miles southeast of Stafford in the 300 block of SE 100 Ave.
A westbound 2008 Dodge pickup driven by 23-year-old Stafford resident Nathaniel L. Russel was leaving a field when it pulled out in front of a 2001 Dodge pickup on SE 100 Ave. to go south. The second vehicle, driven by Floyd J. Kocher, 40, of Turon, was northbound and hit the pickup.
 Russel was taken to the Stafford County Hospital with undetermined injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. The pickup he was driving was removed by LJ&J Towing.
Kocher, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
