Stolen property from Barton County and from several surrounding counties was recovered Monday during the search of a Great Bend residence, Sheriff Brian Bellendir said.
BSCO officers executed a search warrant at 3108 18th St. around 1:50 p.m.
Detectives from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office were also at the scene looking for stolen property.
“Officers located stolen property from several jurisdictions and are currently processing the results,” Bellendir said Tuesday. “Motor vehicle parts and equipment were recovered and taken into custody.”
Although no arrests were made at the scene, Bellendir said the investigation is continuing and he expects more property will be recovered. The case will be referred to the Barton County Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
Other counties involved in the investigation included Russell, Rush, Ellis, Reno and Lincoln.
