HOISINGTON — USD 431 Foundation will sponsor its fifth annual benefit golf tournament from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 29 and 30 at the Lake Barton Golf Club.
It is a 4-person scramble.
This is a come and go tournament, and no preregistration is required. The cost is $20 per golfer and does not include green fees or carts. There are four divisions, alumni, alumni class, almuni women and open.
USD 431 Superintendent Bill Lowry said the event has grown each year. The proceeds benefit the USD 431 Foundation, which provides scholarships to Hoisington High School graduates.
There will be a small raffle for participants, as well as prizes.
The foundation is also accepting corporate sponsorships.
