LARNED — Members of the Larned guild met Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the First Presbyterian Church of Larned. Thank you notes were read from Faith Thompson for gifts extended in her behalf for the summer music camp at Fort Hays University and from Diann Morell. Announcements included a work day at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 with potluck to follow at noon, the Quilting Diva Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church (use northwest door), and the annual Christmas party on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
