Music fans are invited to join the GBHS Panther Jazz Band for Popcorn and Pop at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, This fall concert will be in the relaxed atmosphere of the GBHS Commons Area where attendees can enjoy munching on popcorn and sipping a pop or bottled water.
Selections include “Just What the Doctor Ordered,” “On Broadway,” “Slane,” “Jump, Jive an’ Wail,” “Jazzman,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On,” “Beyond the Sea,” “You Can’t Stop the Beat” and “In the Mood.” Featured soloists are Johan Sanchez, Sage Cauley, Robbie Brining, Alex Smith, Matthew Phillips and Dylan Lamb.
Mark DeWald and Don Regehr direct the Jazz Band. The concert is free and the public is invited to attend a fun-filled evening. Donations will be accepted to offset the pop and popcorn expense.
