The annual Presbyterian Women’s Rummage Sale is set for 8 a.m. until noon this Saturday, April 6, in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church at 24th and Washington.
Members said the purpose of the sale is two-fold. The first is to provide minimal prices to the community on a large variety of clean, usable items including small kitchen appliances, kitchenware, home décor, clothing for all ages and accessories, linens, children’s toys, books and magazines, tools and hardware, luggage and a lot of miscellaneous items.
The second purpose is to raise funds for the local agencies and services which Presbyterian Women support each year. Last year local support was given to the Salvation Army Red Kettle, the Barton County Food Bank, Barton County Emergency Aid and Sunflower Diversified Services.
