A Great Bend woman was injured Monday when the car she was driving rear-ended a pickup pulling a flatbed trailer that was stopped for road construction on U.S. 281, 0.2 miles north of SW 30 Road.

Kansas Highway Patrol reports Alma A. Garay-Garay, 20, was taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center with suspected minor injury. She was driving a southbound, 2013 Chevy Camaro when the crash occurred at 1 p.m. KHP reports she was not wearing a seat belt.

The 2018 Chevy pickup was driven by Bruce L. Heller, 55, of St. John, who had no apparent injury. He was wearing a seat belt.
