May 12
An officer responded to 400 Block of 2nd Street for a Check Welfare. Subject was located in the residence after falling and unable to get up. Subject was transported by EMS.
May 15
An officer responded to the 400 Block of W. Williamson Street for an ambulance assist.
May 17
An officer responded to the high school reference an alarm. Building was checked and secure.
May 18
An officer responded to the 100 block of “D” Street in reference to criminal damage to property. A case was taken with damage under $500. Juvenile offenders were later located and restitution will be made.
May 22
An officer responded to the 200 block of E. Hamilton for an ambulance assist.
An officer attended a meeting at the Albert Fire Station regarding the 800 radios. Speaking was a technician for the State of Kansas 800 Radio System.
May 24
An officer responded to K-4 Highway at the west edge of town reference a driving complaint. Vehicle was not observed entering the city.
An officer responded to the 100 block of 7th Street reference a solicitor. Solicitor was located and advised of city’s requirements to be able to operate within the city.
May 25
An officer responded to the intersection of K-156 and K-4 highways reference a road hazard. An item was located and removed from the roadway.
May 26
An officer transfered a civil dispute call in the 100 block of 8th Street to the sheriff’s office due to a conflict of interest.
May 29
An officer responded to the Claflin Convenience Store in reference to a theft. A case was taken with the loss at $125.
June 1
An officer responded to First Kansas Bank in reference to an alarm. Building was found to be secure.
June 2
An officer responded to the high school in reference to an alarm. An open door was located. The building was searched with assistance from a Sheriff Deputy and found to be unoccupied.
June 3
Officers participated in annual Firearms Qualification at the range.
Officers participated in Tazer CEW certification training at the Police Department.

Verbal contact was made to the owner of a vehicle in the 400 block of 2nd Street regarding an expired tag and flat tire. Violations have been corrected.
