Fatal crash reported west of Marquette

A Lindsborg teenager died Sunday when two pickups collided in Ellsworth County, 7 miles west of Marquette on K-141.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Owen L. O’Dell, 15, was driving south at 4:30 p.m. when he crossed the center lane and struck an oncoming F-150 head-on. After the collision the 1990 1500 pickup O’Dell was driving came to rest in the ditch and became fully engulfed in flames. It was unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
The other driver, Garrett W. Scritchfield, 30, of Lindsborg was taken to Salina Regional Medical Center with disabling injuries. Passengers Kayla A. Scritchfield and a 4-year-old girl were also taken to the medical center with injuries. The driver was wearing a seat belt and the girl was in a booster seat. Another girl, approximately 2 months old, was in an infant car seat and was not injured.
KHP reports Kayla Scritchfield was not wearing a seat belt.
