Kansas Highway Patrol

A Ford truck driven by Alicia J. Glenn-Law, 39, of Grants Pass, Ore., was northbound on Rush County Road 230 and failed to yield at the Ave. G intersection at 7:15 p.m. Monday (4.5 miles north and 1.5 miles west of LaCrosse). The truck struck another Ford truck driven by Ryan James Zelwanger, 21, of Hays, that was eastbound on Ave. G. Zelwanger’s truck rolled one time, coming to rest in a field. Both drivers sustained possible injuries and Zelwanger was ejected. He was taken to Hays Medical Center while Glenn-Law was taken to LaCrosse Medical Center. It was unknown if the drivers were wearing seat belts.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle hit a deer on K-4 about half a mile west of U.S. 281 shortly before 7 a.m. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.

A meth lab was found on property on NW 100 Road Monday afternoon.

 

Great Bend Police

An aggravated burglary at 5501 Ninth St. No. 97 was reported at 12:22 p.m. Monday.

Vehicles driven by Cynthia Hogan and John Linscheid collided on Broadway Ave. at 12:31 p.m. Monday.

Vehicles driven by Mary Berry and Alfred Ankerholz collided in the 2000 block of 10th St. at 4:20 p.m. Monday as Berry attempts a lane change. Barry was treated and released at Central Kansas Medical Center.

A broken window was discovered Monday at 2100 Kansas Ave.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fires.
