Great Bend firefighters were dispatched to an abandoned farm house at 197 North U.S. 281 at 4:29 a.m. Sunday. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
On Friday they were dispatched to 2818 24th St., to remove smoke caused by a self-cleaning oven. Firefighters also performed a carbon monoxide check last Wednesday.
Firefighters made five Emergency Medical Service calls on Wednesday, three Thursday, four Friday, six Saturday and six Sunday.
