A Great Bend man was injured Monday when the car he was driving went off Interstate 70 in Trego County, approximately seven miles west of WaKeeney. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4:28 p.m. when an Olds 88 driven by Allen Richmond Winder, 56, went into the median. The driver over-corrected and the car flipped onto its top. Winder was taken to Trego County Memorial Hospital with undetermined injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.
