Two pickups collided at 9:31 p.m. Monday on Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County, less than a mile west of K-14.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports both vehicles were eastbound. A 2000 GMC driven by Matthew A. Norwood, 40, of Cleburne, Texas, was following too closely and rear-ended the Skyline camper being pulled by at 2008 Ford pickup. Norwood was taken to Ellsworth Medical Center. The second driver, William A. Matthews, 27, of Bottineau, N.D., was not injured.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Both vehicles were removed by S&S Auto Body to a tow lot.
