Kansas Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash at 1:44 a.m. Wednesday on an Interstate 70 overpass, 7 miles north of Ellsworth. A 2014 Ford Escape driven by Rydge C. Grewe, 19, of Salina was westbound on I-70 and veered left off the exit ramp, struck the bridge embankment and then went airborne and struck the guardrail on K-14.

KHP reports Grewe was wearing a seat belt and it is believed his injuries were minor. He was transported to Ellsworth Medical Center.
