A 32-year-old Ellsworth County man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night north of Kanopolis.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Shane Hall of Kanopolis was southbound on K-111 about a mile north of Kanopolis at around 7:45 p.m. when, for unspecified reasons, the 1995 GMC Sierra he was driving left the roadway on the east side. Upon leaving the roadway, the vehicle struck a power pole and came to rest in a field.

Hall was transported to Ellsworth County Medical Center with what the KHP described as minor injuries. Hall was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
