A Kinsley man died Wednesday, May 17, in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 183 in Edwards County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Terrence D. Brake, 51, suffered a fatal injury when the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving cross the center line and struck a combine trailer being hauled by a Kenworth semi-tractor. Brake was wear a seat belt at the time of the collision.

The crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. at U.S. 183 and County Road O. The semi driver, Jared L. Schemper, 43, of Holdrege, Nebraska, was wearing a seat belt and had no apparent injuries.
