A Great Bend was injured Saturday when an all-terrain vehicle went off of a Barton County road and overturned, the Kansas Highway Patrol reports.

Jesus A. Leyva Jr. 20, was taken to the University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus with suspected serious injuries at 5:55 p.m. The crash occurred in the 300 block of 60 Ave., 0.9 miles south of U.S. 56. The ATV, a 2013 Polaris Rambler 850 XP, was traveling southbound when it went left of center off the roadway. Levva over-corrected his steering, causing the ATV to overturn and come to rest in the east ditch.
