Great Bend Police
An individual called police at 5:40 p.m. Monday to report a male had been at the skateboard park, 2251 Williams, offering money to kids at the park.
A burglary at 2421 Sixth St. was reported late Monday. Someone reportedly broke into the residence and stole money.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Monday/early Tuesday.

At 11:44 a.m. they responded to a false alarm at 1217 Harding St.
At 7:08 p.m. they responded to 152 South Washington, where someone cutting up a vehicle for salvage accidentally started a fire. No loss was reported.
At 7:59 p.m. they responded to a unauthorized burn at 4612 Railroad Avenue. Someone was burning a pile of limbs at night without a permit.
At 4:15 a.m. Tuesday they responded to a smell of smoke at 5906 16th and found the furnace to be the source of the smell.
Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle driven by Diana Hejny, 43, was stopped at 17th and Main at 9:53 p.m. Sunday, due to the driver having a suspended license. While being searched in the jail, suspected contraband was found on her and she was booked on charges that included possession of meth and bringing contraband into a correctional facility. Bond was set at $40,000.
Theft and criminal damage to a target at the Ellinwood Archery Club’s target range in rural Ellinwood was reported Monday.
A non-injury, one-car accident was reported at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, when a driver reportedly missed the turn at the TV tower on U.S. 281 and NE 50 Road. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
