The Great Bend Police Department continues to receive reports of counterfeit money circulating at local businesses.
A fake $10 bill was reported at First Kansas Bank, 4001 10th St., Friday morning. More counterfeit bills were found at the bank on Saturday.
A fake $20 bill was received Sunday morning at McDonald’s Restaurant, 3307 10th St. In the afternoon, a subject allegedly attempted to pass fake money at the restaurant, but left with the money before officers arrived.
