Great Bend Police

Theft of a license tag from 312 Elm St. was reported Wednesday.

Theft of boots from the business at 1305 Main was reported Wednesday. Loss was $200.

Three unknown females reportedly left the business at 1313 Main on Wednesday without paying for $86 worth of merchandise.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle in the 3100 block of 16th St. on Thursday.

Theft of an Acer laptop computer from 2703 Broadway Ave. was reported at 1:32 a.m. Friday.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle hit a deer two miles south of Odin around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Seventy-five gallons of gas in fuel barrels at 673 North U.S. 281 was stolen, it was reported Wednesday.

A vehicle hit a deer on East U.S. 56 near the grain elevators at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.

A vehicle hit a deer on U.S. 56 near mile post 200 at 6:43 a.m. Thursday.

A vehicle hit a deer on North U.S. 281 near NW 170 Road at 9:39 a.m. Thursday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.

A vehicle hit a deer on K-96 at mile maker 174 shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made eight ambulance runs on Wednesday, three on Thursday and three on Friday as of mid-afternoon.

They performed one standby on Wednesday.
