Great Bend Police

A 20-year-old male was taken to the Great Bend Regional Hospital emergency room at 2:49 a.m. Sunday with possible alcohol poisoning. He was treated and released and cited for minor in consumption.

Theft of a green 1997 Ford Escort from 1620 Lakin Ave. Apt. 1 was reported Sunday.

Vehicles driven by Jiany Armendariz and Dora Razo collided Sunday afternoon at Broadway and Hubbard.

A $28 gas skip at 1315 10th St. was reported Sunday.

A Coke machine that was reported stolen from a residence last Thursday was returned Sunday by an individual who said he thought the machine was for someone to take and he was not trying to steal it.

Several items were stolen from a garage at 2905 16th St., it was reported Sunday night.

A gas skip at 2334 Main was reported at 10:40 p.m. Sunday.

Someone damaged the ignition on a Ford Ranger at 5633 Eisenhower Ave., it was discovered Monday morning.

Criminal damage to property at 5840 Cherry Pl. was discovered Monday by an officer.

A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle at 1323 Baker, it was reported Monday.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle driven by Janine R. Burton, 22, was northbound on NE 100 Ave. approaching NE 20 Road at 8:28 a.m. Monday when the driver lost control on the dirt road. The vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled onto its top. Two passengers were also in the vehicle and all were trapped inside for a time. Ellinwood Fire Department Ambulance also responded, along with Kansas Highway Patrol. Injuries were reportedly minor.

Barton Community College campus security reported an unknown person stole iPods, cash and other items from five Bethany basketball players, Monday night at the Kirkman Building.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made three ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fires.
