Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made nine ambulance runs on Friday, 11 on Saturday and three on Sunday. They were also on standby for Friday’s football game.
On Friday they checked a gas smell in the 100 block of Third Street but found nothing, and responded to a house fire at 12:56 p.m. at 2706 19th St.
Firefighters received a report of smoke coming from a stove at 2703 28th St. at 4:18 p.m. Saturday. There was light smoke but no fire damage.
On Sunday firefighters performed one carbon monoxide check and assisted the GBPD twice.

Barton County Sheriff
Theft of a license tag was reported Friday at 158 S. Washington Ave., Great Bend.
A non-injury accident was reported at 9:17 p.m. Friday on East U.S. 56 and SE 120 Ave.
A warrant arrest was made at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Ninth and Macarthur Road, Great Bend. Duane (Sammy) Jahay of Ellinwood was arrested for a Wichita County warrant for probation violation and a Barton County warrant for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond through Ace Bail Bonds and a $1,000 cash bond.
An injury accident was reported at 3:37 p.m. Saturday at Patton Road and Anchor Way.
A non-injury accident was reported at 7:43 p.m. Sunday at Fort Zarah, 330 E. U.S. 56.
A non-injury accident was reported at 5:10 a.m. Monday on North U.S. 281 and NW 180th St. It was outside of Barton County.

A burglary was reported Friday at 620 Hubbard St.
An injury accident was reported at 9:42 a.m. Friday at 18th and Baker.
A hit-and-run non-injury accident was reported at 2524 McBride Parkway.
Theft of a Jet Ski from 320 Walnut St. was reported.
Tools were reportedly stolen from a garage at 3815 12th St.
A hit-and-run non-injury accident was reported at Wal-Mart.
An Xbox and games were reportedly stolen from 2905 16th St.
A case was taken at 2:30 a.m. Saturday after five subjects reportedly got into a fight at the Eagles Lodge, 1024 Main.
A non-injury accident was reported at 11:26 a.m. Saturday at Broadway and Adams.
A coyote was reportedly seen around 1:40 p.m. Saturday in the area of Broadway and Sheridan Ave.
A stolen 1999 Ford Expedition was located by an officer Saturday evening and impounded.
A burglary was reported at 217 Chestnut St.
A narcotics search warrant was served at 6:11 p.m. Sunday at 1444 Broadway Ave. Sean Flagg was arrested for a Barton County warrant.
Theft was reported Monday at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.
