Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer on U.S. 156 between Dundee and Pawnee Rock at 8:22 p.m. Friday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A stolen vehicle out of Colby was located at the river Saturday afternoon.
Vandalism to a fuel tank half a mile from the Barton-Russell County line (at NW 220 Road and NW 60 Ave.) was reported Monday.
A vehicle driven by Kevin Schartz hit a deer on U.S. 56 at NE 27 Ave. at 9:41 p.m. Monday.

Great Bend Police
A motorist was westbound in the 1300 block of Eighth Street shortly before 10:27 p.m. Saturday and lost control of the vehicle, hitting a mailbox and a parked vehicle. The driver left the scene on foot and the vehicle was towed.
At 2:58 a.m. Sunday, it was reported that an XM radio had been stolen from the glove box of a car parked in the 600 block of Main Street.
Theft of a bike from 5501 Ninth St. Lot 11 was reported Sunday.
A vehicle driven by Rick Clark was northbound on Monroe at 4 p.m. Sunday and struck a vehicle driven by Gregory Keenan, who was westbound on 16th St.
A $50 gas skip at 5200 10th St. was reported at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Theft of gas from 1000 Main was reported at 9:09 p.m. Sunday.
A vehicle driven by Taylor Reed was eastbound on Ninth St. at 9:16 p.m. Sunday and struck a parked vehicle.
Theft of a cell phone from 1101 Kansas Ave. was reported Sunday.

Kansas Highway Patrol
A man driving a motor home through Ellsworth County on Interstate 70 was taken to Ellsworth County Medical Center after the vehicle  crossed opposing traffic and went into a ditch Friday night, two miles east of the K-232 junction. Gary L. Slocum, 59, of Bloom Field, N.M., sustained possible injury in the accident, which occurred around 11:25 p.m. He was wearing a seat belt.
