Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made 13 ambulance runs Friday, six Saturday and eight Sunday.
On Friday they provided mutual aid to Stafford County. They also received one false alarm.
Saturday night, shortly after midnight, they extinguished a grass fire at 400 SW 60 Ave.
At 12:19 p.m. Sunday they responded to 1221 10th St. for a fuel spill at Love’s.

Great Bend Police
A hit-and-run motorist struck a menu at Sonic Drive-in, 3909 10th, on Friday.
Someone reportedly stole a gas meter from another residence and hooked it up to a residence in the 1400 block of 12th St., then stole gas.
Theft of gas from 4905 10th St. was reported Friday. Notices to appear in municipal court were filled out but not served on two suspects.
A window on a residence at 1019 Parrish Road was broken.
An individual reported being threatened by Lee Walter Dean at a Great Bend residence on Friday. Dean was booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated intimidation of a witness and disorderly conduct, with bond set at $40,000.
Michael Scott Johnson, Great Bend, allegedly damaged the inside of a residence at 1323 Heizer St. and was being disorderly on Friday afternoon. Johnson reportedly ran for officers, but was located and arrested. He was booked into jail and released Saturday after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
A theft case was taken for review after a known person allegedly took items from a Great Bend residence.
Theft of a 2003 Infinity from 3515 Broadway was reported at 12:45 a.m. Saturday. It was located Sunday afternoon on 11th St. and picked up for impound when the owner could not be contacted.
Someone broke a window on a vehicle parked at 1036 Madison.
Theft of Kansas license tag 538 DHN from 3017 10th St. was reported Saturday.
A vehicle driven by Jennifer Stice was westbound on 10th St. at 4:16 p.m. Saturday and struck a vehicle driven by Joshua Ebeling, who was eastbound and reportedly failed to yield while turning north onto Washington.
A burglary at 2421 Coronado was reported Saturday night. A TV and other electronics were taken.
A window in a van at 201 McKinley St. was broken, it was reported Sunday.
A hit-and-run vehicle backed into a vehicle at 925 10th St.
Theft of a 24-inch Next-brand mountain bike from 5926 Eisenhower Ave. Apt. 19 was reported.
A vehicle driven by James Herman backed into a parked vehicle at 2105 26th St. at 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
Damage to rooms at America’s Best Value Inn, 3500 10th St., was reported Sunday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 1309 Hubbard.
A vehicle driven by James Slead was backing from a driveway on 24th St. and struck a westbound vehicle driven by Tiffany Ford at 7:07 p.m. Sunday.
A vehicle driven by Alex Sterling was southbound on Main at 7:48 p.m. Sunday and struck a vehicle driven by Kayllin Dryer, who was also southbound stopped at the light at Lakin Ave.

Barton County Sheriff
A burglary at 197 SW 52 Ave. was reported Friday. Someone broke into the house and several items were taken.
An altercation at 327 Township Road in Pawnee Rock was reported at 7:25 p.m. Friday. A criminal damage to property case was taken.
A juvenile was taken into custody Friday night after his mother turned him in for having suspected drug paraphernalia.
Ten pumpkins in the patch at NE 30 Road and Sunset Road were destroyed by vandals, it was reported Saturday.
A male contacted a deputy on Saturday to confess to stealing items from Walmart in June.
A vehicle hit a deer west of Hoisington on K-4 at 11:18 p.m. Saturday.
A disturbance at 400 East Barton County Road was reported at 1:05 a.m. Sunday. Four males and one female reportedly stopped a family of five, including two children, who were looking for a lost family pet. The suspects allegedly pulled their vehicle in front of the reporting party’s vehicle, causing the driver to pull into the ditch. Suspects reportedly exited their vehicle with guns, stealing the victim’s BB gun and flashlight. A male suspect sustained injury to his mouth.
Attempted theft of a four-wheeler from 51 S. McKinley St. was reported Sunday, along with criminal damage to ratchet straps, which were cut.
Vandalism of the Pawnee Rock water tower was discovered Sunday after someone painted on the structure.
Theft of patio furniture and equipment that included grills, benches and chiminea from 242 North 281-B was reported Sunday.
A Jeep hit a telephone pole and rolled in the 200 block of NE 20 Road, it was reported Sunday evening. No one was injured.
A sexual battery was reported at 2:39 a.m. Monday. The alleged victim reported being sexually assaulted, possibly while passed out Sunday night.
