Barton County Sheriff

A motorist in a 1998 Mustang reported hitting a deer in South Hoisington around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday. The driver was later identified and arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving while his license was suspended or revoked, and failing to maintain the roadway.

 

Great Bend Police

Thursday reports:

Vehicles driven by Summar Aguilera and Megan Crawford collided at 16th and Main at 9:50 a.m. Crawford sustained possible injury but refused treatment.

An in-ground light at 606 Main was damaged.

A hit-and-run vehicle backed into a parked vehicle at 12th and Washington.

A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at 3503 10th St.

The window on a 1999 Dodge Durango was broken in the 1200 block of 10th St. while it was being driven.
