Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made six ambulance runs Friday, six Saturday, five Sunday and one Monday. There were no fires.

 

Great Bend Police

A known person reportedly stole $35 worth of fuel from 2716 10th St. at 11:14 a.m. Friday.

Two instances of credit card fraud were reported Friday.

A theft from 1109 Main was reported Friday. It reportedly occurred last Wednesday and was recorded on video.

A grill was reportedly stolen from Great Bend Coffee, 2015 Lakin Ave., on Friday and recovered in the alley behind the business.

Vehicles collided in front of McDonald’s on 10th St. at 7:08 p.m. Friday.

A burglary at the Spirit Shop, 4006 10th St., was reported Monday morning. Someone kicked in the back door and took liquor. Total loss was $361.88.

A vehicle at 1623 Stone St. was egged, causing damage to the paint, it was reported Monday. Loss was $750.

Theft of an advertising sign from in front of 2646 Main was reported Monday. Loss was $100.

Damage to three tires on two vehicles at 1406 18th St. was reported Monday. Loss was $380.

A burglary at America’s Best Value Inn, 3500 10th St., was reported Monday. Someone took a television from one of the rooms. Loss was $298.

A burglary at 2609 Washington Ave. was reported Monday. Someone broke into a storage shed and took household items. Loss was $500.

A gas skip at 2716 10th St. was reported at 9:59 p.m. Monday.

Theft of two cell phones from a residence at 5263 Timber Creek Rd. was reported at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle hit a deer on NE 160 Road and the North Susank blacktop at 7:55 p.m. Friday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
