Barton County Sheriff

A known person reconnected his electrical service after the meter was locked by the company, it was reported Wednesday.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made 10 ambulance runs on Wednesday. There was one false alarm caused by a system malfunction.

Wednesday reports:

A window was broken at 4600 Quail Creek Drive.

Someone broke the windows on a recreational vehicle at 1702 Morton St.

Motorist Bernadine Maneth was backing north on Main and struck a vehicle driven by Janice Murray who was eastbound, at 3:19 p.m.

A Walmart employee allegedly stole food while on duty.

A vehicle driven by Sandra Barrera was stopped at a red light on 10th Street at 5:35 p.m. and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Pam Meadows.
