Great Bend Fire EMS
Firefighters made 10 ambulance runs on Friday, six on Saturday and four on Sunday.
Friday.
At 5:27 p.m. Friday, units responded to 2500 Canterbury for possible problems with the residential gas meter. The gas company was on scene and checked the meter and found a problem and replaced the meter.
There was a truck fire at 11:42 a.m. Saturday at 3024 Railroad Ave. and a bonfire at 10:34 p.m. Saturday at the Radium Bridge.

A theft was reported Friday at 2206 12th St.
An injury crash was reported at 10:49 a.m. at K-96 and Patton Road. Vehicles driven by Betsy Hineman and William Wolf collided.
A burglary was reported at 723 1/2 Madison St. A dog was taken.
A battery was reported at 8823 Fourth St.
Theft of fuel was reported at 3620 10th St.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5320 10th St.
A theft was reported at 1310 Hubbard St.
Theft of a bike was reported at 4904 12th St.
A battery was reported at 1106 Morphy St.
A battery was reported at 1438 20th St.
At 12:55 a.m. Saturday, a woman in the 1700 block of Holland reported vicious raccoons in her gutters.
Camera equipment was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at the Comfort Inn, 911 Grant St. Criminal damage to a motorcycle was reported at the same address.
Tail lights were reportedly stolen from 1516 16th St.
A cellphone was reported stolen at JC Penney Co., 1500 Kansas Ave.
At 10:41 p.m. Saturday, a person reported by battered by an unknown subject in the area of 11th and Washington.
Tote bags were reportedly stolen Sunday at Dillon’s No. 3, 1811 Main. A notice to appear in court was signed against a known person.
A person seen walking with a sword in the 3500 block of 10th St. was contacted at 11:10 p.m. Sunday.
A hit-and-run accident was reported at 11:37 p.m. at Ninth and Kennedy.

Barton County Sheriff’s Office
Search warrants were issued around 7:15 a.m. Friday at 705 Heizer St. and 2115 Jefferson St. in Great Bend.
A non-injury accident was reported at 7:37 a.m. at 384 N. Washington, Great Bend.
Theft was reported at NE 90 Ave. and NE 140 Road.
A domestic aggravated battery was reported in the 500 block of NW 10 Ave.
