Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters extinguished burning trees and tires in the 300 block of Hubbard St. on Monday evening.

A vehicle driven by Kyle Pischel was eastbound on 24th St. at Jackson at 7:24 p.m. Tuesday and struck a vehicle driven by Audra Lamb, who was also eastbound but stopped in traffic.

A "stop ahead" sign was down at Susank Road and NE 150 Road on Tuesday morning.

Theft of four brass valves from an oil tank battery at SE 140 Ave. and SE 20 Road was reported Tuesday.
